How we reduce the chance of nodules
With any PDLLA or PLLA biostimulator, a firm lump can occasionally form. No clinic can rule that out — but how the product is prepared and placed makes a difference. This is how every session at VOS is run.
- Diagnosis before product
Skin thickness, texture and where support has actually been lost are checked first, including our 3D skin analysis. Then the line — Skin, Volume or Glam — and the amount are chosen.
- Prepared to the VOS recipe
Juvelook arrives as a powder and is mixed before injection. Our signature recipe, built from thousands of clinical cases, guides how it is prepared and where it goes.
- One doctor sets depth and amount
Dr. Kim places every injection himself, area by area — and never adds vials just to reach a package number.
- Clear aftercare
For 24 hours: no intense exercise, alcohol or sauna, and don't rub or press the area. Small bumps right after injection are expected and usually settle.

Will I see results within one trip?
You may notice some early hydration, but the collagen response takes weeks and the protocol is three sessions. One session is the start of the course, not the finished result. If you need a visible change within days — for a wedding or an event — Juvelook isn't the one to rely on, and Dr. Kim will tell you what fits that timeline.
Do I have to come back to Seoul for all three sessions?
Ideally the course is completed, but it doesn't have to be squeezed into one week. Dr. Kim sets the spacing at consultation around your skin and travel plans — some patients return for sessions two and three, others treat the first as a starting point and discuss how to continue.
Does one vial equal one session?
Not necessarily. A vial is the unit of product; a session is a visit. Depending on the areas and your skin, a session may use one vial or more. Juvelook Skin can also be combined with Volume or Glam toward the 3-vial package price.

They aim at different things. Juvelook (PDLLA with HA) works mainly on texture, pores and fine lines; Sculptra (PLLA) and Juvelook Volume are aimed at lost volume. Dr. Kim decides after seeing where your concern really sits.
What should I send before booking?
A clear daylight photo of your face without makeup, your travel dates, and anything you have had injected in the past year. With that, Dr. Kim can suggest which Juvelook line fits, roughly how many vials to plan for, and how the sessions could fit your trips.
