Three steps, one short visit
The injection calms the signal from a nerve to a muscle, so that muscle — or, with the skin smoothing injection, the skin's tiny muscles and glands — relaxes for a while.
Step 01 · Consult & mark
Dr. Kim watches how you frown, smile and clench, then marks the exact points and agrees the units with you.
Step 02 · Injections, ~10–15 min
A very fine needle places small amounts at each marked point. Most people describe the feeling as mild.
Step 03 · Onset in 2–3 days
The effect usually starts after 2–3 days and reaches its peak at about 2 weeks.

Can I fly after an anti-wrinkle injection?
Flying itself isn't a problem for most people. What matters is the 4-hour rule — stay upright and don't press on the treated area — so if you have an overnight flight, leave a few hours between your treatment and boarding. Tell Dr. Kim your flight time at the consultation.
Can I combine it with other treatments on the same trip?
Often, yes — many visitors pair anti-wrinkle injections with lifting or skin treatments. The order and spacing depend on what you're combining, so Dr. Kim plans the sequence for your trip at the consultation.
I've had these injections many times. Will it still work?
For most people it keeps working. In a small number of people who have frequent or high-dose treatments, the body can form antibodies that make the injection less effective. Tell Dr. Kim which product you've had, how often and when your last session was, and he will plan the dose and timing from there.
How many days before an event should I have it?
Ideally about 2 weeks before, since that is when the effect usually peaks. If your stay is shorter, the effect still typically starts within 2–3 days.
