Is Prime stronger — or more painful — than classic Ultherapy?
Neither, by design. Prime delivers the same FDA-cleared micro-focused ultrasound at the same 1.5, 3.0 and 4.5 mm depths. You may feel heat or a prickling sensation as each line is delivered, and how much depends mostly on the area and the energy level. VOS uses 3-step pain management, and nitrous-oxide sedation is available if you would like it.
What do I actually gain with Prime?
A clearer view before every line. The DeepSEE imaging field is about twice as wide, with a clear, stable picture down to about 8 mm — so Dr. Kim can confirm the depth over curved areas such as the jawline, under the chin and around the brows.
