Korean Skin Booster Injection Price: What Sets It? Reviews
A Korean skin booster injection price depends on product, mL, sessions and numbing. Dr. Hongseok Kim at VOS Dermatology, Gangnam, explains each factor.

Trying to pin down a Korean skin booster injection price before you fly, and worried the number will grow once you're in the chair?
Read this before you compare quotes.
You'll know what actually sets the cost, what review threads get right and wrong, which methods suit which skin, and how much recovery to plan for, so you can match a booster to your skin and your budget.
Hello, I'm Dr. Hongseok Kim, a board-certified dermatologist with 21 years of experience and the Medical Director of VOS Dermatology Clinic in Gangnam. I do the consultation and the injections myself, and I'm writing this because booster quotes rarely count the same things.
Three facts about my clinic matter for this question. The price list is the same for every nationality. Every plan starts with a 3D skin analysis, and I choose the product for your face instead of selling a package. Injectables are drawn through a 5μm filter syringe, which blocks tiny particles such as ampoule glass.
The common mistake in price comparisons is looking at the cost of one syringe, when the number of sessions a product works over usually moves the total far more.
A skin booster price in Seoul comes down to the product, how many mL or vials your skin needs, how many sessions that product is designed around, and any numbing you add. Rejuran, for example, is planned as three sessions one month apart, so a single-session price is only part of the picture.
If one area bothers you most, take a photo of it in daylight, send it on WhatsApp, and ask one thing: which booster, and how many sessions, would make sense for this?

What decides a Korean skin booster injection price?
Five things decide it: the product, the amount, the number of sessions, the area, and how many trips to Seoul you need. Each one is a line you can ask about before you book, and none of them requires you to buy a bundle.
The product comes first. Rejuran delivers polynucleotide (PN) into the dermis through many small injections, supporting the skin's own repair without adding volume. Juvelook is a collagen-stimulating injectable, and Juvelook Volume is the version used where some elasticity and contour support is wanted. Hilo Wave and Retizen are also on my menu.
The amount is the second factor. Rejuran Healer comes as a 2 mL syringe, while Rejuran HB and Rejuran Eye come as 1 mL. Juvelook is counted in vials. Cheeks alone take less product than a full face plus neck, so two people who both say they had Rejuran can end up with very different totals.
Sessions matter most. Rejuran's regeneration effect is built over three sessions at one-month intervals, with improvement over about 12 weeks. Juvelook's effect of about six to twelve months also follows a series of three sessions. If a quote you've received covers one visit, it covers a third of the plan.
The area changes the product. Fine lines and thin skin around the eyes are usually treated with an eye-specific formula such as Rejuran Eye, which is listed separately from a full-face syringe.
Then there are your days in Korea. A three-session course spaced a month apart means three visits. If you live abroad, that is either three trips or a decision about what one session can do for you, which I come back to in the example below.
Two smaller points round it out. The listed prices exclude VAT, and comfort options such as numbing or nitrous oxide sedation are worth naming when you ask for a quote. If you're pricing a dewy-skin plan rather than one product, I've broken down what booster-based glass skin treatment costs in Seoul.
To get the figure for your own case, ask on WhatsApp for a quote on the area and the number of sessions you have in mind.
Which booster methods are on the table?
Every booster I use is injected by hand into the skin. What differs is what's in the syringe and how the skin responds over the following weeks. For the longer comparison, my guide to Korean skin booster types and how to choose one covers it; here is what matters for cost and recovery.
| Booster | What it does | Recovery and duration |
|---|---|---|
| Rejuran (Healer, HB, Eye) | PN injected into the dermis to support regeneration | About 30 minutes; minor swelling, bruising or redness for 2–3 days; 3 sessions a month apart, lasting about 6 months |
| Juvelook | Collagen stimulation for fine lines and texture | Swelling, bruising or redness for a few days is possible; about 6–12 months after 3 sessions |
| Juvelook Volume | Collagen-based support for elasticity and contour | Gradual change as collagen builds |
| Retizen | Elasticity and wrinkle improvement | Within 20 minutes; redness or swelling for a few days is possible |
Read the last column as part of the price. A product that lasts longer per course may cost more upfront, and a product that needs three visits costs you three trips if you live abroad. You can read more about the PN product lines on my Rejuran treatment page, and the rest of the injectables sit under face line treatments.
On the evidence: a systematic review of polynucleotides in esthetic medicine, published in the Journal of Cosmetic Dermatology, found encouraging results for skin quality while calling for larger, better-controlled studies. That matches what I tell people. PN boosters are a skin-quality treatment, and they work gradually.

What do reviews get right about skin booster prices?
Review threads are right that one session rarely shows the full effect, and right that the injection bumps fade within days. They're less reliable when they say boosters do nothing, or that a booster can stand in for filler.
“One session did nothing.” Partly true. PN boosters are designed as a course, and improvement builds over weeks. Someone who paid for one session and judged it at two weeks often judged it too early.
“The bumps are gone by the next day.” Often the small raised points settle quickly, but swelling, redness or bruising can last two to three days after Rejuran. Don't book a wedding or a work presentation for the day after.
“A booster can replace filler.” Medically, no. Boosters improve the quality of the skin itself. Where the problem is lost volume, such as a deep hollow, a booster won't fill it.
“Foreigners get charged more in Seoul.” I can only speak for my clinic: one price list applies to every nationality.
A worked example: thin skin and two trips a year
Say you're in your late thirties, your skin is thin and dry, fine lines have appeared under your eyes and across your cheeks, and a clinic at home told you filler would look heavy on you. You can come to Seoul twice a year, for about a week each time.
Here's how I'd reason. Thin, dry skin with fine lines is a skin-quality problem, so a PN booster such as Rejuran is the first thing to discuss, with Rejuran Eye for the under-eye area. The catch is the schedule. The course is three sessions a month apart, and you're here every six months. One session per trip still supports the skin, but you should price it and judge it as one session.
If you also notice the cheeks softening and losing firmness, Juvelook becomes the other conversation, because its effect builds on collagen over months. It, too, is planned around three sessions. Either way, the useful question for your quote is how much the plan you can actually complete would cost.

How I approach a booster quote
Every skin is different, and the diagnosis and treatment have to differ too. That's why a skin analysis comes before I name any product. Your quote should reflect your face and your travel dates.
I aim for the exact dose and concentration your skin needs, never more and never less. Adding syringes “to be safe” only raises the bill. I also insist on genuine products and tips, because unauthorized ones are a known cause of side effects. Wherever you're treated, it's reasonable to ask what is in the syringe and to see the packaging.
If needles worry you, nitrous oxide sedation is available; my clinic has used it in over 5,700 cases.
Worth knowing: The quote that fits you is the one built on sessions you can actually attend. If you can come only once, ask what one session can do and price that, instead of starting a three-session course you can't finish.
How long is recovery, and what are the risks?
Booster recovery is usually measured in days. After Rejuran, minor swelling, bruising or redness can last two to three days; after Juvelook or Retizen, a few days. Book your injections early in your stay so that settles before your flight or any photos.
When you plan the date, remember that I'm closed on Wednesdays, Sundays and public holidays. Fridays run until 20:00 and Saturdays until 16:00, which helps if you land midweek.
Risks and side effects to know
The common reactions are small raised bumps at the injection points, swelling, redness, bruising and tenderness, and they usually settle within a few days. The U.S. Food and Drug Administration's consumer page on dermal fillers lists bruising, redness, swelling and pain among the common short-term effects of products injected under the skin.
As a general rule, it's wiser to wait if you have an active infection, an acne flare or inflammation in the area, a recent laser or peel, or you're taking isotretinoin. The same goes if you're pregnant or breastfeeding. Rejuran's PN is salmon-derived, so a fish allergy needs to be raised first, and Rejuran HB contains lidocaine. Collagen stimulators can occasionally leave small nodules; I also treat Juvelook nodules, so tell me about any lumps from earlier injections.
If after you fly home you notice increasing pain, heat, spreading redness, fever or a lump that keeps growing, see a doctor at home promptly. Take the product name and the amount injected with you. The U.S. CDC's medical tourism guidance also advises keeping copies of your records and planning follow-up care before you travel.
Before you book, send on WhatsApp a short list of any injections, lasers or peels from the past six months and any medicines you take, and ask whether any of them changes your timing.

If you wanted a slimmer jawline, not better skin
Boosters improve skin quality, but they won't reduce fat under the chin or along the jaw. That's a different treatment, V-Line Slim Injection, planned as three to five sessions at 12-week intervals, which shapes its cost and your trips in its own way. I cover it in my post on fat dissolving injections in Korea.
