Korean Skin Treatment Price: Reading a Seoul Price List

Visitors often send me a screenshot of a price they found somewhere and ask whether ours is "the same thing," so this article explains how to read a Korean price list before you compare.

A Korean skin treatment price depends on three things: the treatment, the unit it is sold in, such as shots, mL, vials or units, and how much of that unit your face needs. At VOS, prices come from one official English price list in KRW, before 10% VAT, the same for all nationalities and subject to change; the current version is on our pricing page. How prices are listed at VOS

Everything on our list follows the same rules. Prices are in Korean Won. A 10% Value Added Tax is added where applicable. The same pricing applies to all nationalities, so there is no separate foreigner rate. Prices may change without prior notice, which is why I link the live list rather than printing a figure and leaving it.

The list also says, in plain words, that treatment recommendations are customized after consultation with a board-certified dermatologist. In practice, that is me. A listed price tells you what a unit costs. It does not tell you how many units you need. That part comes from looking at your skin.

The unit behind every price

Most confusion about Korea skin treatment cost comes from units. Two offers can look very different until you notice they measure different things.

• Shots are used for energy devices. Ultherapy PRIME, Sofwave, Thermage FLX, Volnewmer and LinearFirm are listed by shot count. More shots means more coverage or more passes.
• mL or syringes are used for fillers and some boosters, such as HILO WAVE, Rejuran and Juvederm.
• Vials are used for collagen stimulators such as JUVELOOK and Sculptra, often with a lower per-vial price for three vials.
• Units are used for botulinum toxin. Masseter Botox and Skin Quality Botox are listed by units.
• Sessions or programs are used for lasers, Opus, MiraJet and combination programs.

When you compare, convert both offers into the same unit. Then ask what product is used and who performs the treatment. At VOS the doctor holding the handpiece or the needle is the same doctor who examined you.

A price map across the menu

These are representative items from our official English price list, copied exactly. They are chosen to show each kind of unit rather than repeat the most famous treatments. All prices are in KRW before 10% VAT and may change without prior notice.

Programs and combination prices

Some items on our list are combinations, and they are priced as one line. The Signature Lift & Tighten Program combines Ultherapy PRIME (600 shots) with Sofwave (200 shots) and is listed at ₩4,900,000, down from ₩6,000,000. The Pore Refinement Program combines Skin Quality Botox, Juveàcell and Potenza RF. The Melasma Treatment Program combines Fotona Nd:YAG, Potenza RF and MiraJet.

A program makes sense when I would recommend those treatments together anyway. It does not make sense to take a program because the number looks attractive if half of it does not match your concern. Several programs also note that multiple sessions are recommended, which matters if you are only in Seoul for one week. All prices here are in KRW before 10% VAT and may change; please confirm them on the pricing page.

Worth knowing: The listed price of one treatment is rarely the full cost of a result. Courses such as Rejuran, JUVELOOK or pigment programs are designed around several sessions. Ask what one session can realistically do before you compare a single-session price with a package elsewhere.

What moves your total up or down

Once the treatment is chosen, these are the things that change your final figure:

• Area and amount. A full face needs more shots or product than one zone. Eyes, jawline and neck are often listed separately.
• Number of sessions. Some treatments show their result after one session; others are planned as a course.
• Combinations. Two treatments on the same day each carry their own price, unless a listed program covers both.
• Comfort options. Nitrous oxide sedation and intravenous pain management are listed separately.
• VAT. 10% is added where applicable.

Things that do not move it: your nationality, whether you booked through a message or walked in, and the language you speak.

Treatments quoted after consultation

A few treatments described on our website are not on the current official English price list. HydraFacial is the most common example. For those, I do not publish a number in writing. Our team gives you the current figure on WhatsApp or at the consultation, before anything is scheduled.

This is also why I ask you to treat any price you see online, including in older articles, with a little caution. The official list has an issue date, and it is the only source I quote from. If something you read elsewhere does not match, the live list on our pricing page is the one that applies.

Budgeting a trip: one visit or a course

For a short trip, I usually plan one main treatment and at most one supporting one. That keeps both the cost and the recovery predictable. Lifting and toxin fit easily into a week. Boosters and collagen stimulators are often courses, so one visit is part of the result. My Korean skin boosters guide explains how the booster courses are spaced.

If you are considering a prepaid package, read the refund rule first. A partly used package is refunded after the treatments you received are recalculated at the regular, non-discounted price, and a 10% cancellation fee on the total package price applies. For a traveller whose plans may change, paying per visit is often the more sensible choice.

How I build a quote at VOS

Every quote starts with a consultation with me, our 3D skin analysis and VOS Skin MBTI, a questionnaire and analysis designed by board-certified dermatologists. From that, I choose the treatment, the unit and the amount. For lifting, that might be a shot count for Ultherapy PRIME or Sofwave. For toxin, it is the number of units of botulinum toxin for each area.

I explain why each item is on the quote, and I tell you when a smaller plan is enough. I will not add shots or product to reach a package figure. Results, like prices, depend on the person, and I say so plainly.

Our team will reply with the likely options and their listed prices, and I confirm the plan at the consultation.
