Thermage Cost in Korea: FLX Prices and What They Include

When patients abroad write to me about Thermage, the first question is usually about money, so I would rather set out the real numbers here than make you ask twice.

The short answer to the Thermage cost question at VOS: Thermage FLX 600 Shots is listed at ₩2,400,000 and Thermage FLX Eye 450 Shots at ₩2,200,000, in KRW before 10% VAT. This article is for people who already have a rough idea of what the treatment does and now want to know what that figure buys, what moves it, and how to get a firm quote before booking a flight. The official Thermage FLX price list at VOS

These are the two Thermage items on our official English price list, updated in August 2026. I have copied them exactly as they appear.

All prices are in Korean Won before 10% VAT, which is added where applicable, and they may change without prior notice. The current figures are on our pricing page. The same pricing applies to all nationalities, so the thermage price Korea visitors see on the list is the price Seoul residents see too.

There is no Thermage package or bundled program on the current list. I mention this because people sometimes arrive expecting a discount bundle they read about elsewhere. If your plan involves more than one item, each is quoted from its own line on the list.

What the 600 and 450 shot numbers actually mean

A "shot" is one pulse of radiofrequency energy delivered through the treatment tip. The number beside each option is the amount of treatment you receive, not a marketing label. When you ask how much does Thermage cost, you are really asking how many pulses, through which tip, over which area.

Thermage FLX uses different tips for different jobs. The Total Face Tip covers larger regions such as the cheeks, jawline and forehead. The Eye Area Tip is built for the thin skin around the eyes, where fine lines and lid laxity behave differently from cheek skin. In general, Thermage tips are single-use and carry a set number of pulses, which is why pricing is organized by tip and shot count rather than by minutes in the chair.

That also explains the thermage eye cost. The eye option is its own treatment with its own tip and its own 450 shots, aimed at eyelid firmness and fine wrinkles around the eyes. It is not a smaller slice of the face treatment, which is why its listed price sits close to the full-face option despite the smaller area.

Why shot count matters more than the headline number

When people compare a Thermage FLX price between clinics, they often compare the headline figure and stop there. I would compare three things instead: how many shots, through which tip, and who performs the treatment.

A lower figure can mean fewer shots spread over the same face. Spread thin, the energy per area drops and the result tends to disappoint rather than harm. That is a quiet failure, because nothing goes wrong on the day; the change you paid for simply does not arrive in the following months.

Genuine consumables matter for the same reason. Two of the principles VOS works by are "Correct Amount" and "Genuine Product", and our equipment standard is built around genuine devices and "Exact Dosage". In plain terms, the number of shots written on your plan is the number delivered, through a genuine tip on a genuine device. Whatever clinic you choose, ask to see the shot count on your quote and ask whether the tip is genuine.

• Ask how many shots your quote covers, and for which area
• Ask which tip will be used: face or eye
• Ask who performs the treatment from start to finish
• Ask whether the price is before or after VAT
• Ask what happens if the plan changes after the in-person consultation

What changes your total

The listed options are fixed, but your final bill depends on what the plan contains. In general terms, these are the factors that move it.

Area. Face only, eyes only, or both. If I recommend both, you pay for both listed items, each at its own price.

What your skin actually needs. Sometimes a photo suggests one plan and the examination suggests another. If your concern turns out to be structural descent rather than loose skin, radiofrequency may be the wrong tool, and I will tell you before you pay.

Other treatments in the same visit. Adding an ultrasound lift, a skin booster or wrinkle relaxers changes the total, because each is priced separately from its own line on the list.

VAT. A 10% VAT is added where applicable. When you compare figures, check whether they are before or after tax.

Thermage FLX cost at VOS is not built around extras you did not ask for. If a plan changes after the consultation, the change is explained and quoted before treatment starts.

What the price covers at VOS

The listed price is for the treatment itself, and I can only describe what our own documentation supports.

I perform it myself. At VOS, all procedures are performed by me, from the first conversation to the last shot. Nothing is handed to another doctor partway through. The consultation that decides the tip, area and shot count happens in a private room with me, using 3D skin analysis to look at the layers rather than the surface alone.

The device includes its own comfort features. Thermage FLX cools the skin before, during and after each pulse, with a built-in vibration system and AccuREP energy tuning that adjusts output across the treated area. Nitrous-oxide sedation is available if you are anxious about heat; ask on WhatsApp how it affects your quote.

Aftercare is simple. No special aftercare is required, there is no downtime, and temporary redness or mild swelling usually settles within hours. You are not paying for a recovery program, because the treatment does not need one. Recovery still varies from person to person.

The session takes less than an hour. Many people feel some tightening immediately, then gradual improvement over 2–6 months, typically lasting 1 to 1.5 years. Individual results vary.

Worth knowing: A quote made from photos is provisional. I set the final plan only after I see your skin in person, and that can mean recommending less than you expected, a different treatment, or no treatment at all. I would rather lose a booking than sell you heat your skin will not respond to.

Thermage vs Ultherapy cost at VOS

Many people weighing Thermage are also looking at Ultherapy, so here are the official Ultherapy PRIME figures from the same list. Ultherapy PRIME is listed at ₩600,000 for 100 shots, ₩1,800,000 for 300 shots and ₩3,600,000 for 600 shots. Ultherapy PRIME Eye is listed at ₩600,000 for 100 shots, ₩1,800,000 for 300 shots and ₩2,400,000 for 400 shots. These are in KRW before 10% VAT, may change, and are on our pricing page.

Please do not compare those shot numbers with Thermage shots directly. Ultherapy PRIME delivers micro-focused ultrasound to the SMAS layer in points; Thermage FLX heats the dermis as a field with radiofrequency. A "shot" means a different thing on each device, so the numbers are not a like-for-like unit.

The more useful question is which problem you have. Lowered brows and a softening jawline point toward Ultherapy PRIME. Overall firmness, crepey eye-area skin and contour refinement point toward Thermage FLX. Some faces need both. Planning Thermage alongside other treatments in one trip

If you are flying to Seoul, it is natural to want to do more than one thing while you are here. Thermage fits well into a short trip because there is no downtime, which leaves room for other treatments on the same visit.

Two combinations come up often.
