Korea Rejuran healer: how to choose a clinical practice when you have one short trip, the sessions are usually a month apart, and you can't drop back in if something bothers you at home?
Read this before you book the flight.
You'll know what decides the cost, what reviews get right and wrong, which methods to ask about and how many days to plan, so you can pick a practice that fits your skin, budget and calendar.
Hello, I'm Dr. Hongseok Kim, a board-certified dermatologist with 21 years of experience and the Medical Director of VOS Dermatology Clinic in Gangnam. I do the consultation and the procedure myself.
Three facts about my clinic matter for this question. The plan starts with a skin analysis, the injectable principles are genuine product and exact dosage, and the price list is the same for every nationality.
I wrote this because many people compare clinics by the price of a syringe, then realize too late that their dates only allow one session.
My answer to "Korea Rejuran healer how to choose a clinical practice" comes down to three checks: who examines and injects you, whether the product and amount are shown to you, and whether the session plan fits your dates.
If your dates are the tight part, send one daylight photo of your cheeks and your arrival and departure dates on WhatsApp, and ask how many sessions those dates allow.

How many days do I need for Rejuran Healer in Seoul?
For one session, plan on about three working days in Seoul, counting a spare day or two after the injections. For the whole course, you need a different plan, because the standard protocol is three sessions a month apart, with results typically lasting over six months. Individual outcomes vary.
That interval is the fact most trip plans miss. Rejuran works on the skin's repair environment over weeks, so stacking sessions into one holiday doesn't replace the course. If you live in Tokyo or Taipei, three short trips can be realistic. If you live in Sydney or Toronto, you may be choosing between a single session and a longer plan.
My clinic's calendar affects this too. We're open Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from 10:00 to 19:00, Friday from 10:00 to 20:00 and Saturday from 10:00 to 16:00. We're closed on Wednesdays, Sundays and public holidays, and weekday lunch runs from 13:00 to 14:00.
Say you teach English in Asia and land in Seoul on a Thursday night, flying home the following Tuesday afternoon. Sunday is closed and Tuesday is too close to your flight, so I'd look at Friday or Saturday. Either one leaves you a few days in Seoul while small bumps and any bruising settle, and you'd still be nearby if something looked wrong.
Flying itself rarely causes trouble after a superficial skin injection. I'd still avoid an injection the day before departure, because the first day or two is when you're most likely to have a question.
What should I ask a clinical practice before booking?
The US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention's medical tourism guidance tells travelers to check the qualifications of the clinician doing the procedure and to get copies of their records before returning home. I'd add a few questions specific to Rejuran. You can ask any practice all of them by message.
| What to ask | Why it matters on a trip | A clear answer includes |
|---|---|---|
| Who examines me and who injects me? | You have little time to correct a mismatch | A named doctor and their specialty |
| Which product line, and how many mL per area? | Dose and product shape the result and the bill | Product name, amount and areas |
| Can I see the sealed product before injection? | You can check that it's genuine | A plain yes |
| How many sessions do you suggest for my dates? | Three sessions a month apart may not fit | A plan for this trip and the next step |
| What records can I take home? | A doctor at home may need them | Product, amount, areas and date |
| Who do I contact if I react at home? | Problems may appear after your flight | A named contact route |
A practice that answers these plainly has given you most of what a comparison needs. If an answer stays vague after you've asked twice, count that as information.

How I approach a Rejuran Healer plan for a short trip
Every skin is different, so I don't start from a set menu. I start with a skin analysis, then choose the product or combination for that face. The first thing I want to know is whether Rejuran is even the right tool. Rejuran suits thinner, more sensitive skin and people concerned about fine lines and rough texture. It doesn't lift a sagging jawline, and I'd say so at the consultation. For sagging, I'd look at the devices on my skin glow treatments page instead.
Then comes the dose. My commitment on every injectable is exact dosage and concentration, never more and never less than your skin needs. For a short trip, I would also decide what one session should cover if it may be the only one for a while. You can read how each line works on my Rejuran treatment page.
Doctor's note
If you can only come once, tell me at the start. I would rather plan one realistic session with you than sketch a three-session course you can't return for. One session is a start and won't equal the full protocol, and you should know that before you buy the ticket.
What if something goes wrong after you fly home
In short, this is the part to settle before you book, because the practice will be a flight away. The CDC notes that travelers may need care at home if complications develop, and that this care may be costly and not covered by insurance. So carry your treatment details and know which local doctor you would call.
Risks and side effects to know
Common reactions are temporary: local pain, swelling, itching, redness, bruising and small raised bumps where the needle went in. A systematic review of polynucleotides in the Journal of Cosmetic Dermatology reported that such effects usually resolved within a week, with no severe events in the included studies. That evidence came from only nine small studies of low to moderate quality, so treat it as encouraging and limited.
In general, it's sensible to postpone or skip Rejuran if you have an infection or inflammation at the site, a recent laser or peel, current or recent isotretinoin use, pregnancy or breastfeeding. The same applies to any allergy to fish or salmon-derived ingredients, since PN comes from purified salmon DNA.
If you're home and you notice spreading redness, increasing pain, heat, pus or fever, see a doctor locally the same day and show them your treatment record. Any injection can cause an infection, and that assessment shouldn't be delayed for a message across time zones. Then let the practice that treated you know.
Before your trip, list your current medications and any treatments from the last few months in a WhatsApp message, then ask which of them changes your timing.

Which Rejuran Healer methods should I ask about?
The method question is mostly about which product goes where. These are the lines my clinic offers:
- Rejuran Healer is used on the face and neck, and it is the usual choice for sensitive skin, redness and a compromised barrier.
- Rejuran HB combines PN with hyaluronic acid and lidocaine, for hydration and a more comfortable treatment.
- Rejuran Eye is formulated for the under-eye area. My post on Rejuran i for fine lines around the eyes covers it in detail.
All of them are micro-injected into the dermis. A serum can't do the same job, for reasons I set out in why 500 Daltons limits what Rejuran skincare can do. If PN may not be the right booster type for your skin, my guide to Korean skin boosters compares the others.
If the needle is your main fear, tell the practice early. Over 5,700 nitrous oxide sedation cases have been done at my clinic, so you can ask whether it's an option for your session. Also, if you want your skin at its most even for an event in Seoul, see how to time a glow facial around your trip.
What do Rejuran reviews get right and wrong?
Review threads repeat a few claims, and they deserve a straight medical reading.
"It stings more than I expected." That's plausible. Injections into the dermis can be uncomfortable, and that's why a line with lidocaine exists.
"I had bumps for a few days." Also accurate for many people. Small raised marks are a common temporary reaction, so don't plan a close-up photo shoot the next morning.
"One session changed my skin." Treat this one with caution. Change builds gradually, the standard course is three sessions, and a single account can't tell you the amount used, the area or the skin it was used on.
That last gap is the main limit of reviews. They can tell you how someone felt about a visit. They rarely tell you who injected, how many mL went in, or whether that plan would suit your skin.

What decides the cost of Rejuran Healer in Korea?
Five things move the figure for a trip:
- Product line: Healer, HB and Eye are listed separately.
- Amount and areas: cheeks alone need less than the full face and neck, and the list is priced by mL.
- Number of sessions: the course total is different from the cost of one visit.
- Comfort options: ask whether numbing or sedation changes your quote.
- Your trip: return flights and hotel nights for later sessions belong in your own budget.
Also ask whether the quote includes VAT, because my clinic's list prices are shown before VAT and can change. To get the figure for your own case, ask on WhatsApp what it would cost, and include a photo of the area you want treated.
