Sofwave Korea Price: Shot Options, Programs and VAT

Sofwave is one of our signature treatments, and when people abroad message me about it, the first thing they usually want is the real figure, so this article is about money and nothing else.

The short answer to the Sofwave Korea price question at VOS: Sofwave is listed at ₩600,000 for 50 shots, ₩2,400,000 for 200 shots and ₩3,000,000 for 250 shots, in KRW before 10% VAT. It also appears inside two combination programs with lower program prices. This article is for people who have already decided Sofwave is worth considering and now want to understand what the listed figures buy, what changes the total, and how to get a quote before booking a flight.

The official Sofwave price list at VOS

These are the Sofwave lines on our official English price list, updated in August 2026. I have copied every figure exactly as it appears.

All prices are in Korean Won before 10% VAT, which is added where applicable, and they may change without prior notice. The current figures are on our pricing page. The same pricing applies to all nationalities, so the Sofwave price Korea residents see is the price visitors see.

How to read the three shot options

A shot is one delivery of energy from the handpiece. Sofwave fires seven 12MHz ultrasound beams in parallel with each shot, focused at about 1.5mm in the dermis while the surface is cooled. The number on each line is the amount of treatment you receive, not a label for a package.

If you divide each figure by its shot count, you will notice something that surprises some people: the Sofwave price per shot is the same on all three lines. Buying 250 shots does not make each shot cheaper than buying 50. There is no volume discount on Sofwave on its own.

That has a practical consequence. Moving from 200 to 250 shots is not a bargain in itself; it is simply more treatment. I only suggest the larger number when the area and your skin call for it, and I explain which zones the extra shots cover.

The 50-shot size is the smallest unit on the list. It is also the Sofwave portion of the Signature Eye Rejuvenation Program, which gives you an idea of the scale it represents: a focused area rather than a whole face.

Where the discount actually sits: the two programs

The lower prices on the list sit in the combination programs, not in the single-treatment lines. It helps to see where those program figures come from.

In the Signature Lift & Tighten Program, the regular figure of ₩6,000,000 matches the two single lines added together: Ultherapy PRIME 600 shots at ₩3,600,000 and Sofwave 200 shots at ₩2,400,000. The program is listed at ₩4,900,000. The pairing is deliberate. Ultherapy PRIME works on the deeper support layer, and Sofwave works on the mid-dermis where fine, crinkly lines sit.

In the Signature Eye Rejuvenation Program, the regular ₩3,400,000 likewise matches its parts from the single lines: Juveàcell 8% 1 vial at ₩1,000,000, Ultherapy PRIME Eye 300 shots at ₩1,800,000 and Sofwave 50 shots at ₩600,000. The program is listed at ₩3,060,000. All figures are KRW before 10% VAT and may change.

A program only saves you money if you needed every part of it. If your concern is thin skin and fine lines without real sagging, the lift half of the program is money spent on a problem you do not have. What decides how many shots you need

This is the part no price list can answer for you. The shot count on your plan comes from an examination, not from a menu.

I look at four things before I suggest a number:

• The area. A focused zone, such as around the eyes or the brow, is a different plan from the lower face and cheeks.
• Skin thickness and laxity. Sofwave suits thin skin with crinkly lines; on firm, young skin the visible change can be small.
• Whether sagging comes from deeper tissue. If it does, Sofwave alone will disappoint, and the plan changes.
• What you have had recently. A recent lift or skin booster affects what makes sense now.

Because of this, a quote made from photos is a starting point. When I see your skin in person, the number can go down as easily as up, and sometimes the honest answer is a different treatment. The treatment detail is on our Sofwave treatment page.

Worth knowing: A lower headline figure elsewhere can mean fewer shots spread over the same face. Spread thin, the result tends to underwhelm rather than harm, and you only find out months later. When you compare Sofwave cost in Seoul between clinics, compare the shot count and who performs the treatment, not only the total.

Other things that change your total

The listed options are fixed, but a few other factors decide what you actually pay on the day.

VAT. A 10% VAT is added where applicable. When you compare figures, check whether they are before or after tax.

Comfort options. Numbing cream is applied first and is usually enough for Sofwave. Nitrous oxide sedation, which you breathe in while staying awake, is listed separately at ₩50,000 per treatment if you want it, in KRW before 10% VAT.

Other treatments on the same trip. Anything added to the plan is priced from its own line on the list. I only suggest a combination when each part addresses a different concern.

Prepaid packages. If you prepay a package and later ask for a refund on the unused part, our list states that treatments already received are recalculated at the regular price and a cancellation fee of 10% of the total package price applies. If you are not sure you will return to Seoul, it is worth knowing this before you commit.

How Sofwave cost compares with Thermage and Ultherapy

Many people pricing Sofwave are also looking at the other two tightening devices. From the same list, Thermage FLX 600 shots is listed at ₩2,400,000, and Ultherapy PRIME is listed at ₩600,000 for 100 shots, ₩1,800,000 for 300 shots and ₩3,600,000 for 600 shots. These are KRW before 10% VAT and may change.

Please do not compare shot numbers across devices. A Sofwave shot, a Thermage shot and an Ultherapy shot deliver different energy to different depths, so the numbers are not a shared unit. Similar totals do not mean similar treatments.

The more useful question is which layer your problem sits in. Fine lines and crinkly thin skin point toward Sofwave. Structural descent along the jaw and brow points toward Ultherapy PRIME. What the price buys in time

Cost only makes sense next to how long the effect lasts. Sofwave has no downtime; mild redness or swelling usually fades within about 20–30 minutes, so you can go straight back to your trip.

The change itself is gradual. It usually becomes visible from about one month, peaks around three months and is generally maintained for about six months after that. Results and duration vary from person to person, depending on skin thickness, sun exposure and how much elasticity was lost to begin with.

For a visitor, that timing matters for budgeting. You will see the full result at home, not in Seoul. If you want to keep the effect, the next session is a decision for later, once you have seen what your own skin did, rather than something to prepay on the first visit.

How I approach a Sofwave quote

Every plan starts with a consultation with me and a look at your skin, including our 3D skin analysis. I check where the fine lines sit, how thick the skin is, how the brow rests and whether there is deeper sagging underneath. The shot count comes out of that, and I explain it before any figure is final.

I will not add shots to reach a larger option, and I will not steer you to a program because it looks like a better deal. If your skin is too firm for Sofwave to show much, I will tell you that in the room, even if it means no treatment at all.
