How much is masseter botox in Korea at VOS? Masseter Botox, 75 units, is listed at ₩400,000 in KRW before 10% VAT. That is the treatment for a square or heavy jaw caused by a bulky chewing muscle. The masseter botox price on the VOS list

Below is the relevant section of our official English price list, updated in August 2026 and copied exactly. I have included the neighboring lines, because they are the ones people confuse with jaw slimming.

All prices are in Korean Won before 10% VAT, which is added where applicable, and they may change without prior notice. The current list is on our pricing page. The same pricing applies to all nationalities, so the masseter botox price Korea residents pay is the price visitors pay.

What the 75 units are for

The 75 units are placed into the masseter, the thick chewing muscle at the angle of the jaw. The toxin relaxes the muscle, and over the following weeks it loses bulk from being used less. That is what softens a square lower face.

The unit count matters more than the headline figure. A number of units describes how much product goes into the muscle. When you compare jaw botox price quotes in Seoul, compare the units and the product as well as the total. A lower figure for fewer units is a different treatment, not a discount on the same one.

Masseter, jawline or salivary gland: three different lines

Three items on the list mention the lower face, and they answer three different questions. Picking the wrong one is the most common source of confusion in price messages.

Masseter Botox goes into the chewing muscle to reduce its bulk. It is the square jaw botox price most people are actually looking for.

Skin Quality Botox – Jawline is a 25-unit line that sits in the skin-quality group on the list, next to the full-face version. It is a separate item with a different purpose, not a lower-cost version of masseter slimming, and I explain at the consultation whether it has any place in your plan.

Salivary Gland Botox addresses a different structure, the gland in front of the ear that can make the side of the face look full. Whether it plays any part in your width is something I check at the consultation.

What changes the total on the day

For most people the total is simply the Masseter Botox line plus VAT. A few things can change it, and none of them are added without your agreement.

• A second area. Expression lines, the shoulders or skin-quality toxin are each separate lines on the list.
• A different cause. If the width is fat along the jaw rather than muscle, a fat-reducing injectable is priced differently; on the list, Nuviju is ₩400,000 for 1 vial, in KRW before 10% VAT.
• Comfort options. Nitrous oxide sedation is listed at ₩50,000 per treatment, in KRW before 10% VAT. Most people do not need it for jaw injections, which take about 10–15 minutes with very fine needles.
• VAT. A 10% VAT is added where applicable, so check whether any figure you compare is before or after tax.

Worth knowing: A lower price for a jaw that is wide because of bone is still money spent on the wrong treatment. Masseter botox changes muscle, not bone or fat. I would rather tell you that at the consultation than charge you for units that cannot change what you see.

The cost over a year, not just one visit

Masseter botox is not a one-time purchase. The muscle starts to relax 2–3 days after treatment, the relaxing effect is at its full level at about 2 weeks, and the effect generally lasts 4–6 months. Regular sessions may be needed to keep the result, and each one is charged at the listed price at that time.

For a visitor, that raises a practical question: where will the repeat sessions happen? Some people plan them around return trips to Seoul. Others continue with a qualified doctor at home. If you choose the second route, ask us for a note of the product and units you received, so the next doctor starts from facts rather than guesses.

Timing on the first visit also matters. The slimming shows over weeks as the muscle loses bulk, so you will likely fly home before you see it. Paying for the treatment and judging it in the airport mirror is a common way to feel it did not work. Individual timing varies.

Why the cheapest jaw botox can cost more

When people search masseter botox cost Korea, they find a wide range of figures. I cannot comment on other clinics, but I can tell you what to check in any quote.

• The product name, and whether it is an officially approved product
• The number of units, and how they are split between the two sides
• Who performs the injections, from the consultation to the last point
• Whether the figure is before or after VAT

Two of the principles VOS works by are "Correct Amount" and "Genuine Product". In plain terms, the units written on your plan are the units that go into your jaw. An under-dosed treatment rarely causes harm, but it tends to give a weak or uneven result, and then you pay again sooner.

How I quote masseter botox

A quote from me starts with your jaw, not the price list. I ask you to clench and relax while I feel both sides, because one masseter is often stronger, usually on the side you chew with. I also look at the fat along the jaw, the gland area in front of the ear and the skin, because each can change which line on the list is right.

If the width is mainly muscle, the quote is the Masseter Botox line. If it is partly fat, I explain the difference and whether a second treatment is worth it.
