People planning a trip for their scars almost always ask about cost before anything else, and I think they deserve a straight answer built from real numbers.

Here is the direct answer. Acne scar treatment cost in Seoul depends on which tools your scars need and how many sessions, so there is no single price. At VOS, single tools are listed from ₩300,000 for MiraJet, and the Signature Acne Scar Program is listed at ₩3,150,000. The listed prices, one tool at a time

These are the scar-relevant items on our official English price list, copied exactly. They are in KRW before 10% VAT, which is added where applicable, and they may change without notice.

Each line is a different kind of tool. MiraJet is needle-free delivery into the dermis. Potenza RF is radiofrequency microneedling. Fraxel Dual 1550 is a fractional laser for deeper remodeling. JUVELOOK Skin is a collagen stimulator, and Radiesse is a structural collagen stimulator. Knowing that helps you read a quote: you are paying for different jobs, not the same job at different prices.

What the Signature Acne Scar Program bundles

The program is one line on the list that combines five components. Here they are next to the standalone listing where one exists.

The program itself is listed at ₩3,150,000, down from ₩3,500,000. Juveàcell appears on the list in several forms, priced per vial, so I do not match one figure to the syringe inside the program. Prices are in KRW before 10% VAT and may change; see pricing.

Worth knowing: A bundle only saves you money if you need every part of it. If your scars are shallow boxcars that respond to one or two tools, the full program can cost more than you need to spend. I would rather quote the two lines you need.

What raises or lowers your quote

Four things move the total more than anything else.

Scar type. Rolling scars often need support from below, which brings in injectables. Boxcar scars lean on microneedling and fractional resurfacing. Ice-pick pits need focused work and often more patience. A face with all three costs more to treat than a face with one.

Depth and area. Shallow texture across the cheeks is a different job from deep scarring on the cheeks, temples and jaw. More area and more depth usually mean more product or more passes.

Number of sessions. Collagen rebuilds over weeks and months, so most scarring improves over a series. The first visit is rarely the whole cost. I tell you at the start how many sessions I expect, and I revise that honestly if your skin responds faster or slower.

Comfort options. Numbing cream is part of preparing for device work. If you want more comfort, Nitrous Oxide Sedation is listed at ₩50,000 per treatment and Intravenous Pain Management at ₩100,000 per treatment. Why two clinics quote different figures for the same scars

If you collect quotes in Seoul, you will see figures that look far apart. That is not always a sign that one clinic is fair and the other is not. More often, the quotes describe different amounts of work.

One clinic may quote a single laser pass across the cheeks. Another may quote a combination with injectables for rolling scars, several devices and a follow-up visit. Both are called acne scar treatment, but they are not the same plan. Before you compare numbers, compare what each figure buys: which tools, how much product, how many sessions and which areas.

The product itself matters too. Our clinic lists "Genuine Product" and "Correct Amount" among its principles, which in practice means I tell you the product and the amount going into your skin. Ask any clinic for the same detail. A lower figure for an unnamed product or an unstated amount is hard to judge.

Finally, check whether the figure includes VAT. Our list is quoted before 10% VAT, which is added where applicable, so compare like with like.

Budgeting across a trip and after it

Most visitors are in Seoul for one or two weeks. That usually means one scar session, or two if the plan allows spacing. It is worth budgeting with that in mind.

If you can come back, a series spread across visits often makes more sense than packing everything into one trip. The heavier steps go early in each stay, so redness has time to settle before you fly. If you cannot come back, I focus the single visit on the scars that will respond most and tell you plainly what remains.

Some people continue part of the plan at home. That is a reasonable choice. I explain which parts of the work are device-specific and which a dermatologist near you could continue.

Questions to ask any clinic about scar pricing

When you compare clinics in Seoul, ask each one the same questions. It makes quotes comparable.

• Is the price per session, per area or per program?
• How many sessions do you expect for my scars, and why?
• Is VAT included in the figure you gave me?
• Are numbing, sedation and aftercare products included or extra?
• What exactly is in the combination, product by product and amount by amount?
• If I cancel part of a package, how is the refund calculated?

On the last point, our list is explicit. If a prepaid package is partially used and a refund is requested, treatments already received are charged at the regular, non-discounted price. A cancellation fee of 10% of the total package price also applies, and the remaining balance is refunded.

How I build a scar quote

I start by sorting your scars by shape in several lights. The quote follows the scars, not the other way round. If most of your scarring is boxcar texture, I may suggest Potenza RF microneedling with MiraJet, and nothing else. If there are rolling scars with loss of support, injectables such as JUVELOOK enter the plan.

I recommend the Signature Acne Scar Program only when your face needs most of what it contains.
